This is an investigation into WWASP’s “Tough Love” schools Casa By the Sea, and High Impact by Inside Edition back in 2002.
A few of our own survivors were there that day, When the helicopters flew over High Impact to get this footage. Staff panicked, put all of the students on “code red” corralled all the students into the tent and forced them to lay in stress positions for hours until the helicopters were gone. The woman who was giving the parent’s tour has been identified as the wife of Miguel Rodriguez, Ali Hernandez, both Co-owner’s of High Impact. They came to work at the WWASP school, Casa by the Sea after High Impact was raided and shut down.
Wow, and wwasp still denies it’s affiliation with HI after they have video of HI staff working at Casa?
Wow….I went to CASA by the Sea 98-99 worst time of my life…I do believe the allegations against these schools. I feel that my 9 months spent at CASA did not help me but leave me with nightmares for years after being out of the program. Glad they have been shut down. I can understand as a parent now that I am a parent not knowing what to do with your teen and looking for help anywhere. But knowing what I experienced I would not ever send my child to a program like this.
i’m so glad that acadmy at ivy ridge, was a horriable place to be. i remember how shit it was. it was like hell. my mother thought i was great, but it was just a living hell inside. thank god it closed down
The allegations are all true. I was at Casa By The Sea from 2001-2003 and it was a living hell. 12 years after being sent there I still lay in bed thinking about what I went through. What saddens me the most is that these places still exist. The owners continue to change the corporation names as well as the names of the schools. PLEASE parents do not ever send your child away. I just hope that one day all of these places are closed and I will be able to feel some peace.
Casa by the sea was terrible I was sexually assaulted many times holding me down and stripping me of my clothes give me nightmares every night
