This place fucked me up. They put me in a room with people who would frequently molest me and wouldn’t listen when I asked to be moved. There were cameras in every room watching at all times yet they did nothing. The staff didn’t care, nobody cared. I was starving all the time because the meals were the bare minimum for lower level members, they didn’t allow you to have condiments, juice or anything like that. They found out I was bi so my new name there was faggot, I got bullied for that a lot. One time a kid came up behind me and choked me so hard he was lifting me out of my chair, nobody did shit. They’d put you in these uncomfortable blue concrete rooms, the only thing they did to make the space comfortable was put a hard foam mattress down and on top of that an extremely flat bean bag. Staff got off on showing off their strength, they’d zip tie you, put you in holds, whatever. I don’t believe any of the therapists there know anything about therapy either. Nobody listened. I was there for 7 months. One of the guys they put me in a room with was a total creep, the bathroom doors didn’t lock so he’d open it up and look inside. I didn’t find out he was doing it for a while, he also came up behind me once and grabbed my dick while I was looking for my uniform. Another guy they put me in a room with would chase me around my room whenever I left my top bunk and try to grab my crotch. None of the staff did anything in any case. They were all cruel apathetic people. There were a couple who tried to be better but they stood out amongst all the scammers and perverts. We were fed so poorly that food became a sort of currency liek in prison. The bathrooms were full of roaches, all the facilities were shitty and falling apart. I’d save up my nighttime meds and trade them for food, other students used them to get to sleep. It was a nightmare. I spent my 17th birthday there. I’ll never forgive them or my parents for sending me there. I hope that their organization and the people running it face legal repercussions for the things that they have done.
