I was expecting to go to Six flags Atlanta, I actually wanted to spend the night at my friends house two doors down but was told we were going there and i couldnt. i was 13 years old, Being a “bad ass” Petty theft from walmart, I went inside a close friends home while they were not home and only thing i took was condoms and change and somehow they found out and went told my mom….. I had an idea selling them at school .
SO the next morning we wake up me my mom and my step father and its a 8-10 hour drive to what i am expeectng is six flags. After we are driving and only about 1 hour away or less we stop at a wendys. at that time I had just gotten my hair to be able to be gripped by the braider. I think i had it braided 2 times-3 times … I know it was touching my nose … I get in we sit down with MR Dace Goulding and Darrington. i really cant tell u much but i remember them waiting until my mother and step dad left to tell me. So first thing is you have a uniform u must obide by it, U are in a space that is equal to a motel room with 6 beds on the wall 4 on the right and 2 on the left. you had a shower and bathroom ….
I was the youngest there so it was hard for me to get into upper level. I was given upper level probably 6-7 months into it because the avergae age was 16-17 and what authority would a 13-14 year old have against them.
The day i did get upper level the ceremony opened i was doing good in the program and everything.. they went and Concluded meeting let me down a bit then then said well we have one more JUlio come up blah blah blah….
Okay so school was easy i did 3 year in 1 year. I came home a junior and left in 8th grade. I think my mom got me so quick because i was gonna graduate at 14 at the rate i was going.
I was actually a gay kid i knew i was gay early on i had a gf that was tom boy but i also knew. WE had halloween i dressed up for it as a girl and i think it bothered my parents as well as the other behaviors. Well I got a taste of being gay in darrington. THe first encounter was it was shower time the staff was at the end of the hall sitting down and it was just me and brandon. we were toweled and out of nowhere he puts me in a headlock and we start wrestling. WEll ONE thing led to another… THere was a little bit of that going on throught the place just was very slick bad kids tbh… it led to him coming when it was lights out tapping me and telling me to come over, to it almost being a every other night occurance.. SO it counter acted the anti gay thing that they were hoping for. LMAO
Upper Level was where it was more me and brandon alone at the upper level hall and having to do acts over there. any who
They made us go through what they called programs, One was were u get to go with your family my mom rented a beautiful cabin and itwas a amazing time , sister came and surprised me and cut my hair the guys were like oh whose that bla bla bla and yeah it was very awesome that they did allow that,. I never told her any of the things that was going on well because its manipulation and they brain washed your parents to an extent . I will admit that. SO all i could do was enjoy the time and are they treating you okay YEs mom and all that. it wasnt neccessarily horrible but it was not the best.
THe waking up at 5 am in the mountain everyday whether it is ice or not being forced to run for 15 minutes do running mans, sit ups etc telling them i couldnt breathe the cold air down my lungs still tellng me to run .. I would loose points etc, THe constant telling us we need to shut up , from even the ESCORT Frankie telling the kids stories about his SEX work life, there was plenty of talk about drugs andi was a sponge…
RUNAWAYS one night a guy went and got above the gate and ran away, being that we are in the middle of the woods they said well we can wait a litte bit he aint gonna make it no where but they did call the cops within like 5-10 min . It was snowing and cold. When i tell you that boy regretted his decision when he got back they took him the the time out room, the time out room with the two bosses He was probably beaten the shit out of and then left there until they convinves his mom to go to tranquility bay ; We were always threatedn with tranquility bay . scare tactics always u say something do something that was not right to them or u start a problem yeah family rep was on the phone trying to convince someone….
I did have some brotherhood type bonds that i remember but i mean for someone my age i think it made me exposed to things that later progressed into more bad behaviors i heard weed as good the first day i got out i do believe i tried it, i mean u put someon who is 13 which is a very big part of pubertyish and u put him with bad asses who may have done meth may have stolen cars, may have been in gang or court ordered he hears stories and then u add he is 15 a junior in highh school… they should have never said they would accept me that young it fucked me up
