I attended Cross Creek Academy from April’01 to may ’02. When I first arrived I was thrown into isolation. I spent my first three weeks there. I was forced to attend the first seminar, discovery, and when I refused to claim responsibility for abuse that was inflicted on me they threw me out and put me into isolation, BFO, for the next month. I was never allowed to raise higher than a level 3, out of 6, I was never permitted to do activities, including exercise and going outside. I was fed a carb loaded diet, then yelled at for being fat and lazy. I left there when I turned 18, I weighed 45 lbs more than when I arrived and I still suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia and eating disorders.

About WWASP Survivors
WWASP Survivors is run by a dedicated group of concerned alumni of WWASP-affiliated programs.
Our mission is threefold:
Raise awareness of the true nature of WWASP Programs, to advocate for those still being held in “Troubled Teen” programs, and to provide validation and support to survivors of WWASP programs.
