Our daughter endured 15 days of HELL!
The first day she was attacked by a girl and our daughter was restrained and forced to sleep in the hall on a filthy floor. She was punished for not eating tomato soup the cook put her on cold oatmeal for three days.
Our daughters therapist Tracey lied in her updates stating our daughter was happy, having fun & starting to settle in. LIES!!
The staff would bully our daughter and tell her she was never going home. They do not give kids personal hygiene items their parents send. My daughter had to borrow some shampoo. Her tennis shoes were taken away she was given prison sandals. Fèces in the soap dispensers, stuff written on the walls with blood from very depressed kids that want to go home and cannot speak to their parents and tell them they want to go home. ERA is “Choice Based” which really means if you choose not to do what they say you will be tormented and humiliated.
They claim to teach kids 8 core values “Trust” & “Honesty” something the staff doesn’t practice at all!!! They lie and deceive the parents with their empathy act, they will console parents to feel better and to leave their child there!!
This place is SO Filthy, Abusive & Dishonest. I HATE THAT PLACE AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER!!!! Kids were sick from food poisoning, swine flu, athletes foot & more. The kids are forced to suffer in every way. Not having contact with your family is Abusive. Our daughter wrote 3 postcards that were suppose to be mailed to us.. but never was. They were thrown away! Bc our daughter wrote how awful it was in there and it was making her depression worse.
Every email to any Dept would take several days to be returned with very vague answers.
They say in case of an emergency call the front desk after hours and dial ext. 123
We called several different times – no one ever ever answered!!
My husband emailed Paul our frustrations instead of calling my husband to discuss our concerns as the CEO of that place, one would think he would want to call the family immediately ( we are business owners by the way ) we understand the importance of communication with our Company. However- Paul’s decision to have someone else call instead of him. A lady name Annie called from Unknown number as a matter of fact the few calls we received from any of the staff was from Unknown numbers meaning they blocked the call from the receiver knowing the phone numbers.
That was a HUGE RED FLAG.
Eagle Ranch Academy is worse than a juvenile detention center, it is a Cult like facility full of terrified kids that are stuck there bc their families are unaware of what their child is really going through. It is inhumane on every level.
Now that we have our daughter safely back home with us. On behalf of the kids that are still stuck in that place that are being tormented I will continue exposing Eagle Ranch Academy until they are investigated & shut down. With good conscience I cannot ignore our experience with them in combination to what our daughter endured and witnessed behind closed doors. A girl cried begging my daughter to contact her family if my daughter got to leave before her.
Never underestimate the power of a Mothers intuition. My love & bond with my daughter is more powerful than the bullshit lies to see right through them. 15 days of Hell too many.
