Okay so I’ve been inpatient twice, once for sixth months when I was sixteen in Atlanta ga. at laurel heights and once for five months at the age of seventeen at costal harbor in Savannah ga. There was a lot a verbal abuse, physical restraints that ended with in injury’s, being injected with sedates, children and teens getting jumped by whole units of eighteen to Twenty kids and the staff not doing anything, being bullied not only by peers, but also the adults that are supposed to be taking care of us, we got to talk to our parents at least twice a week on teen minute phone calls and when you’d try to report something you’d be the one to get in trouble if it got back around to staff. It was honestly the worse experience of my life and I am now turning nineteen and it has still affected me to this very day the things I witnessed first hand and had to go through.
