I attended Midwest academy in 2004, and the First day I was there, I became very homesick! With knots in my stomach, and tears in my eyes, I was forced to stay in isolation for 24hrs because I refused to eat 75% of my meal. Another incident, there was a couple of times I passed out during cleaning hours. Not once did a staff member call medical services or informed my family. Matter of a fact, I don’t remember ever seeing a medical doctor!
20yrs later, and I STILL struggle with night terrors and PTSD. Midwest Academy will always be my personal eternal HELL.
