My husband spent nearly two years at Spring Creek Lodge. It has effected every part of his life and who he is today. In looking into this program and what occurred, current status of those running the program I learned that not only are the people behind these horrific stories of child neglect and abusing living free, they are still involved with programs of a different name stating the same rhetoric that was out there back in the days of WWASP. Specifically Chaffin Pullan who is associated TO THIS DAY with an all girls program known as Reflections Academy in the same city as the previous programs.

How is this possible? How is it that our federal and state agencies tasked with protecting rights and upholding laws allowing this to continue? It has caused permanent trauma, disconnection to society, issues with relationships and life with hundreds of thousands of youth in our country.
Please tell me there are people working to end these programs that lie about who and what they are, still in 2019 are abusing and neglecting children and not being held accountable.
It breaks my heart.
