I was there at tranquility Bay form age 13 14 before it closed down yes very bad behavior of its staff was a normal there desaplin activities were always harsh they did a submission state where they sit on you and then they would push your arms up your back by your elbow some kids got there arms disconnected from socket I saw I almost did a good staff came in right before but the kids before me had it done it was a crazy place parents were told nothing letters I believe were scaned by so called house reps for truth letters of what has really happened there some were good but gave away all there humanity to do so I understand kids do need discipline but the kind that was there was almost worse then a kind of prison for real I was so glad I got to leave but felt so bad for the others that remained it was getting worse by the day when I left there but the experience still gets me in a way that if there’s any of theses kind of places left or new ones they need to be checked asap and make shure there doing things right by the law or shut down forever

About WWASP Survivors
WWASP Survivors is run by a dedicated group of concerned alumni of WWASP-affiliated programs.
Our mission is threefold:
Raise awareness of the true nature of WWASP Programs, to advocate for those still being held in “Troubled Teen” programs, and to provide validation and support to survivors of WWASP programs.
