I attended casa by the sea in 1998. I remember wearing the blue sweatsuits and the girls wore the green. I was starved. I remember a small breakfast but no other meals during the day. My classmates were physically abused, One in particular was forced to stare at a wall and listen to recordings with no breaks for weeks at a time. He was physically abused behind closed doors. I felt bad for him. I could hear him screaming for help and desks and chairs being thrown around. Just a small kid. Not a good place to be in. Seminars were brutal. I had to make up things just to get through the whole experience. I stayed until I was 18. Around 8 months total. I guess I was lucky. A friend of mine there was 15! Sean Sorenson was his name. Nice person. I was thrown out of a van in San Diego and spent some time homeless sleeping on the street until I finally made it back home on the east coast.
