I personally found the second training at Spring Ridge to be traumatic. The girls were led into a dark room in the basement and instructed to lie on the floor while the facilitator gave us a guided visualization that we were on a cruise ship. We were all beginning to feel very relaxed and peaceful when suddenly there was a loud bang and screaming and everyone thought an emergency was happening. Everyone was scared. The, facilitator told us the ship was sinking and we all scrambled to our feet and she told us there was only three seats on the lifeboat and gave us each only 20seconds to explain why we deserved a seat on the boat. Everyone was very scared and the exercise was more traumatic than therapeutic.

I also disliked the 2nd training and found it to be upsetting. For me, the self contracts were the worst. Thinking you know exactly the words that work for you and your own self-limiting beliefs, just to be denied by Jeannie and associates, and told “let it stew for a minute” in front of everyone was more humiliating than feedback group. Also knowing that if you didn’t eventually get it right, you have to go through the training again.
I’m sorry you and every one of us had to experience that! I hope you’re doing ok and find peace in life…I know it’s hard.
